One morning, a baby bear Tin Tin went to visit his friend Mei Mei and asked: 'Hey, Mei Mei, where can you get this three-tailed fish?' 'Oh, my mum buys it for my birthday,' replied baby monkey Mei Mei. Baby bear Tin Tin continued: 'they look nice and lovely.' 'Certainly, I really love them; they are like my friends .' 'Mei Mei, can you give me these fish?' . 'Ah ... no, of course not. It is the gift my mum bought for me and I have fed them up very hard. So I can't give them to you.' Baby bear Tin Tin came back home. He said to his father who was painting the wall 'Daddy, I would like you to buy two three-tailed fish for me.''My dear, why do you want to buy the three-tailed fish?' answered Tin Tin's father to his son surprisingly. 'Yes dad. I want to get it to make friends as Mei Mei does,' replied Tin Tin eagerly. 'Please, buy them for me, daddy. I really need two three-tailed fish.' 'OK my dear!' replied Tin Tin's father.
Tomorrow I will go to buy them for you.' The following day, Tin Tin's father went to buy three-tailed fish for him like what he had promised. He said to his beloved son: 'Tin Tin, my dear, this is your three-tailed fish you want.' Tin Tin ran very fast to get the fish from his father, saying: 'Daddy, why there are 4 three-tailed fish as such?' 'My dear, I've bought you four because I want you to have more friends,' replied Tin Tin's father with a smile on his face. Tin Tin replied to his father happily because he had got four more than what he had asked. He hugged the fish glass and put it on the sofa and then he stared at the fish, saying alone: 'Hey, from now on, I have four more friends.' After getting the three-tailed fish, Tin Tin called Mei Mei to visit his house to see his fish. 'Tin Tin, you see you have more fish than me, so you have even more friends,' said Mei Mei to Tin Tin. 'When you come to my house some day, please take them with you to make friends with my fish.' 'Precisely, I will bring them,' replied Tin Tin with a smile on his face.
Both of them sat near the glass and stared at the fish swimming back and forth. Everyday, Tin Tin put his hand into the glass, stirring the water slightly to chat to the fish. When free from school, he always fed his fish. On Sunday morning, Tin Tin shouted loudly and loudly until his father overheard him: 'Daddy, why doesn't my fish swim? Instead of swimming, they are floating in the water. Daddy, please come and see!' Hearing Tin Tin shouting, his father ran to see him and asked: "My dear, what happens to you that you are shouting loudly like this?" Tin Tin's father looked at the fish in the glass and saw them dead, swelling and floating in the water. He then said to his son: 'My dear, your fish are all dead. Tin Tin cried hard, rushing to hug his father, and in the meantime he stopped crying and asked his father for permission to go to Mei Mei's house. He ran very fast. When arriving, he called Mei Mei seemingly in rush: 'Mei Mei, I want to know why you can raise your fish alive: mine are all dead.' , 'How did you raise them dead? Did you feed them?' replied Mei Mei amazingly. 'I never forgot to feed them,' answered Tin Tin, 'So, did you ever change the water for them? And did you ever put your hand into the glass, stirring the water?' 'Oh! stirred the water inside the glass' answered Tin Tin sadly, 'And I caught them to see and put them back to the water very often: is there anything wrong with that?' Mei Mei pulled Tin Tin by hand to see his fish and then told him: 'Hey, Tin Tin my good friend! Your fish died because you didn't know how to keep them. I will tell you how to do so. To raise fish well, you have to change the water regularly and you should not overwhelmingly feed them , for doing so your fish may die. Also, don't stir the water in the glass because it can make the fish water-sick and then dead. We must also keep them in the place away from sunlight. Do you understand?' Tin Tin listened to Mei Mei attentively and then replied: 'Oh, Mei Mei! It is my mistake that I didn't ask you how to raise before I bought them.
When seeing you raising fish, I thought it was easy. But, it is instead difficult. Later, when I wonder about raising fish, I will go to you.' Mei Mei smiled and patted Tin Tin on the shoulder, saying: 'Well, I will help you at any time you don't understand.' . After listening to Mei Mei, Tin Tin asked his father to raise fish again, but his father confirmed: 'Tin Tin my dear! Can you raise fish well this time? 'Have you asked your friend to raise fish yet?' ':Yes, I have, dad. I'm sure for this I will raise fish dead like before,' replied Tin Tin. Tin Tin 's father patted Tin Tin on his head and continued : 'Well done my dear! I will not spoil your aim in raising fish for the second time, but you have to remember don't follow the crowd-not just see your friend raise fish and it look lovely, you want to do the same without know-how. So, before you want to get or do something, you have to think carefully because all what you see is not all what you can do.' Tin Tin smiled at his father and then embraced him: 'Yes, dad. Next time, I will not indulge myself in doing something immediately as I need.' The following day, Tin Tin got another new glass of fish from his father and he was very happy. He then raised his fish very well and healthy. He also brought his fish to show Mei Mei as promised.
Tin Tin and Mei Mei put their glasses of fish next to each other. 'From now on , we will have more and even more friends. As for my fish , they have four more fish friends, too,' said Mei Mei. 'My fish also have two more fish friends, and I will take care of them better than before,' continued Tin Tin.
