Once upon a time there reigned a king named Trey Bottey with a queen named Chann Ratha at Tey Bottey kingdom close to the Himalayas. The king was so powerful that the kings of other 101 kingdoms were reduced to become his colonies. He had a son named Preah Phirun.
One day the king brought along his son to relax in the royal court. Suddenly there appeared an eagle snatching the prince to use for its food. But because of his luck, while flying above a hermit's shrine, the hermit spotted the prince in the beast's beak and he shout very loudly to scare the eagle.
Frightened, the bird dropped the prince and fled away. The hennit then picked up the prince and had him learning the magic skill. Having stayed in the hermitage for 15 years, the prince left the hermit and returned to the kingdom. Using the magic spell, the hermit created a horse, a monkey and a bow for the prince and showed Preah Phirun the way.

Teup Sangva took Preah Phirun to her Kettok Chumpu kingdom to meet the queen, who then married the two and had the prince ruling the Kettok Chumpu kingdom.
In the first night, there was a giant named Chetnureach, the brother of Pinreach, who reigned at Vichhayunn. Angry about the killing by Preah Phirun of his brother and cousin, he hypnotized and put Teup Sangva in the cage before having her killed.
When the sun rose, Preah Phirun did not see Teup Sangva. He got his three officers to consult and found out that she was seized by Chetnureach, who would kill her within 7 days. But after three days the prince would meet her.
Preah Phirun took his soldiers to the kingdom of Vichhayunn to win back Teup Sangva. Upon arrival at the kingdom at night Preah Phirun hypnoti zed the giant and roamed all the rool11s in the castle. The prince then saw Princess Sokunn, the daughter of Chetnureach. Falling in love. He did the courting and won her heart at last.
At dawn, Preah Phirun left the room and took Teup Sangva out ofVichbayunn capital. On the way, they stopped over on Horse Phom Mountain to prepare for war with the giant. Back in the kingdom, whenthe daybreak statted, soldiers who guarded the cage came and toldChetnureach that Teup Sangva escaped. He was so furious that he hadhis servant to beat the drum to mobilize his troops to pursue TeupSangva.
At the time the bird Veayo Pheak, the firend of Chetnureach, also mobilized its armies to help Chetnureach fight the war. During the fighting, Preah Phirun and Teup Sangva killed Chetnureach and Veayo Phek and all of their troops. The pair then set out to relax on a mountain. They were so exhausted that they felt asleep right away, and even the horse also slept while standing on guard.
There was a female giant named Nilphek, the wife of Chao Nhgos, who fell of and died in the deep valley. She was very sad. She climbed up the mountain and saw Preah Phirun and Teup Sangva in their sound sleep. Mistaking Teup Sangva for a man, the female giant took her away and would have her as her husband.
Waking up and realizing that she was seized by the female giant, Teup Sangva killed the giant and walked through the forest to rejoin Preah Phirun.
25 Lost in the TlIkim forest, Tellp Sangva gave bi11h to a son named Song Sinn. They met the hennit, with whom Preah Phirun once stayed, and asked the hennit to let them stay with him.
When Prince Songsein grew up, he wanted to leave his mother in search of his father. But his mother did not give him the chance, One day as he could hardly wait to see his father, he decided to leave a message for his mother and his abbot teacher and set out to look for his father and Teup Montea, who was snatched by a giant.

Together with his servants, he flew around in search of the queen.
Unfortunately, he got lost and arrived at the kingdom of ViChha-yunn, where he saw Giant Tokvennareach battling with soldier’s ofVichhay-yunn. He then lowered himself into Vichha-yunn kingdom and found Princess Oppalak-vanna and her daughter Sokunn Preas-phaisomali weeping.
Preas Phirunn tried to persuade them to stop crying and went to war in order to help them. He won victory and returned to the kingdom. Princess Oppalak-vanna married her daughter Sokunn Preas-phaisomali to Preas Phinmn and had him ascending the throne at ViChha-yunn kingdom.
Queen Sokunn Preas-phaisomali had one son named Arnnreach, who reigned at ViChha-yunn kingdom. During his reinstatement to the throne, many entertainment activities were put on. While watching the shows performed by beautiful dancers, King Preas Phirunn started to think of his first wife Teup Sangvar. He left Preas-phaisomali in search ofTeup Sangvar. He found her and brought her back to and ruled at her father's kingdom, Ket-tokchumpou.
Preas Phirunn got two sons- Princes Songsein and Arunreach. Prince Arunn was married to Princess Amphai-phek, and they gave birth to a daughter named Amphann Nave! Prince Song Sein was married to 5 princesses:
1- Princess Teup Montea got a son named Soryavong
2- Princess Sai Mani got a daughter named Mealea Vann
3- Princess Tep Apsar got a son called Songsein Thop
4- Yuanviniyear
5- Soysassei
Among those sons and daughter, Prince Songsein Thop was very skilful in the battlefield. He fought with No-rinmeat.
No-rinmeat surrendered, conceding Veilokvonn kingdom and marrying his daughter to Prince Songsein Thop, who then became the king of the territory. He accompanied Prince Songsein Thop on the way to Traiborey to meet his grand parents.
The grand parents were very excited to see their grand children, and brought them to the city of Vicha-yuon to meet their father, Songsein. After spending 7 days there, No-rinmeat left his in-laws and returned to the city ofVelokvorn with Songsein-Thop.
Preas Chann in heaven had two sons- the elder named Channke-rya, and the young named Ke-ryachann. When the two grew up, the father went to ask for the hands of Princess Mealeavann, the daughter of King Preas Songsein, for Channke-rya, who after the marriage, reigned at Pechrothrom-seima. He asked King Arunreach to marry his daughter Amphannaveth to Prince Ke-ryachann, who became king of Rothreach kingdom.
After the marriages of his daughter and niece, King Songsein said to his in-law, Preas Chann: "I still have one more son, Soryavong, who has been living with the elder son, Songsein Thop. He is still single".
Preas Chann replied: "So I will ask Vishnu to marry his daughter Keo Sovann to Prince Soryavong. King Songsein agreed to the idea, and with dowries, they came to pay courtesy call on Vishnu, who had no objection. Prince Soryavong and Princess Keo Sovann got married, with the prince ascending the throne at Sovannmealea kingdom.
