CUSTOM OF PIERCING EAR LOBES OF DAUGHTERS

 Long time ago there was a wealthy man who had fabulous wealth and he also had many male and female servants. He had all kinds of valuable jewelry and possessions. This wealthy man betrayed his wife by having a mistress who was his servant.

A while later, his wife knew about her husband's treachery. One day, when the wealthy man went out of his hometown and as his legitimate wife found that it was a very good chance for her, she brought her other servants to catch her husband' mistress and roundly persecuted and coursed that woman. At that moment, she and her nails in companions pierced both ear lobes of the woman with nails in attempt to warn the woman not to love her husband

In the evening, when the wealthy man returned home and saw his mistress in such a situation, he asked, "What's happened to you? Why did you pierce your ear lobes with nails like this?" The woman told her lover all what had happened to her. The wealthy man pulled the nails from her ears and tried to treat her injuries with the traditional medicines. Then, he brought his mistress to live in house far away from others.

Since then, the woman felt so shameful for having such the pierced ear lobes. She always discussed with her lover the way to make the holes on her ear lobes extinct. The wealthy man promised his mistress that he would try to find a way to patch up those holes and make them even better than this.

One day, while he was lying on the bed thinking, he came up with an idea "If I go to have my gold designed by jeweller to make things similar to the nails and give them to her to insert into the holes of  her ear lobes, there would possibly be better."

After thinking, the wealthy man assigned the jeweler to design his gold as nails with decorations and inlay of precious gem stone. These golden nails looked so attractive. After inserting the golden nails into the ear lobes, the mistress became even more beautiful, so she felt extremely dellgi1lted.,

Later on, when the legitimate wife of the wealthy man saw the mistress's ear lobes which she had pierced with nails amazingly and attractively radiated, she asked the mistress "What do you wear on your ear lobes? They look so superb!" The mistress replied, "L wear them instead of the nails that you pierced before."

As the legitimate wife was informed about this, she thought of the way to pierce her ear lobes and told the jeweler to make golden nails with decorations and inlay of precious gem stone. Then, she wore that golden nails like the mistress. Since then, other women have practiced the custom of piercing the ear lobes of their daughters since they are young for wearing jewelry.
